Rumors of the death of rapper Lil' Wyane's daughter have been exaggerated as shit. That's according to both Wayne's record label, Universal Motown, which issued a denial to hip-hop website SOHH and an anonymous comment posted on his MySpace, purportedly from his aunt. The comment reads: "I am pleased to inform you that this report is false. It is merely a rumor started by someone who obviously is miserable in their own skin that they would even have the notion to attack a child. Rest assured Reginae is tucked away in her bed at this very moment trying to get past the hurt this ugliness has caused her and our family."
According to reports that popped up this morning, that 8-year-old died in a car crash late last night. The news prompted a torrent of heartfelt comments on Wayne's MySpace, including this one from Wichy: "So sorry for your lost."

Recently, pictures allegedly depicting Miami rapper Rick Ross (born William Roberts) in a correctional officer uniform surfaced on the gossip website, Mediatakeout.com. Apparently, the Boss isn’t taking the rumors too lightly and issued a statement about the photos:
My life is 100 percent real. These online hackers putting a picture of my face when I was a teenager in high school on other people’s body. If this shit was real don’t you think they would have more specifics, like dates and everything else? I’m in the entertainment business and a lot of people like to hate because I’m on top of my game. Like I said before my life is 100 percent real.
In related news, Ross is currently working on his third LP, Deeper Than Rap, which is looking for a release date some time in 2008. The album is said to feature production from the Neptunes, Just Blaze, T.I., and longtime collaborators with the Runners and J.R. Rotem. more... |

A few days after HHW’s exclusive interview with Shenelle Scott hit newsstands, Jay-Z’s publicity reps went into spin mode, releasing a vaguely worded statement denying that Jay-Z had paid Scott a million dollars to keep his name off the birth certificate of her son Isa-Jael, who is 5 years old and lives in Trinidad. What they didn’t deny, however, was that Jay-Z was the boy’s father. The reason for that, according to a source close to the situation, is that it is true: “Jay-Z is definitely the father of Isa-Jael,” our source says. Jay wasn’t sure at first, so he reportedly had a paternity test, and following the results, which he allegedly kept secret from Scott, he is rumored to have bought her and her son a house in Trinidad worth a whopping $2.5 million.
